Locality: In the Giant Mountains, in a holiday village belonging to the community Podlevin, ca 2 km north of the town Nova Paka. Beautiful place near the forest, on the slope and by a small pond, view of the greenery and of the pond. Ideal for undisturbed holiday in the arms of beautiful mountainous landscape of the Giant Mountains. The surroundings offer good conditions for walking and taking various trips. In the area are found many interesting places – such as town Jicin 16 km, the town is called a gateway to “Cesky raj“ (Bohemian Paradise), protected landscape area “Cesky raj” is well-known for beatiful sandstone rock and rock formations, castle Pecka 10 km, castle Kumburk 8 km, chateau Jilemnice 17 km, castle-ruin Trosky 25 km, castle Humprecht 25 km, safari in Dvur Kralove nad Labem 25 km, castle Kost 27 km. You can reache the beautiful capital city Prague in only one hour by car.

Distances: Basic foods, supermarket and restaurant (Nova Paka) 2 – 3 km. Swimming pool (Pecka) 8 km, indoor swimming pool (Jicin) 16 km. Tennis court (Nova Paka) 2 km, horse riding (Stara Paka) 4 km. Fishing – with a permit (Jahodnice) 6 km. Restaurant “Sokolovna” offers the possibility of using of private heated indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna (Stara Paka) 4 km.

Accommodation: Well-kept holiday house (type “two under one roof”), in 2008 completely renovated. The owners are Dutchmen, and they furnished their house very comfortable and decorated nicely. Entry, hall, living room with sitting suite for 4 persons, dining table for 4 persons, fireplace and Sat-TV with DVD. Open kitchen with bar, two bar stools, electric stove, refrigerator, coffee-maker, electric tea kettle and microwave oven. Bathroom with tub (can also be used as a shower enclosure) and toilet. Upstairs there is a spacious hall (bedroom) with a double bed and a single bed. The second toilet. Second through bedroom with a crib and access to a third bedroom with a double bed, Sat-TV and entering to the covered terrace. Fourth spacious bedroom with three single beds, a bunk-bed and billard table. Electric heating. The garden is fenced, there is garden furniture and a portable grill at disposal. Private parking.

Specialities: Cot on request. One dog allowed. There is a washing machine at disposal. Guests have to take with them their own bed-clothes, towels and dish-clothes. The house is suitable for maximal 4/10 persons + 1 baby.

Holidayhouse Nova Paka is an old farm located in hills in the landscape of Podlevin, near Nova Paka town.

This area in the Eastern Bohemian of the Czechic Republic is well known of its beautiful landscapes.

As well in summer as in winter holidayhouse Nova Paka is a perfect base for excellent recreation.

Holidayhouse Nova Paka is perfect for ski-amatures. Ski-areas like Spindleruv Mlyn, Pec Pod Snezkou, Vrchlabi and Harrachov are located on about half an hour by car from Nova Paka. Here you can find excellent ski-possibilities for the whole family.

Furthermore the surroundings can be used for: walking (also Nordic walking), canoeing, swimming, fishing, deltaflying etc., but also cultural people can find enough possibilities among the many beautiful castles and various historical cities.

Prague can be visited, too. It’s reached within 100 kilometers. Also Poland can be visited during an excursion. The Polish border is only 50 kilometers away from Nova Paka.
